Halo music
The ghostly music in the background of the home screen of the halo video games is very cool. The soft background music makes the game more ominous and foreshadows the intense game. The music is a big part in my wanting to play the game and me and my friends sing along every time we play.
Abbey Road
The production of Abbey Road was very focused and it shows whenever you listen to the album. It is one of, if not the best Beatles album made and it is full of hits. The opening song, Come Together, is a great entrance into the album and sets the bar for the rest of the album.
Christmas music
Christmas music is amazing, it makes me happy and fills me with great memories. The Christmas music gets me in the mood for Christmas and can turn any bad day into a good. Going Christmas caroling brightens everyone's mood and is always a good time.
Jimmy Hendrix
Jimmy Hendrix is a very good guitar player; his famous playing of the national anthem is amazingly done. His unique atyle of playing is not only fun to listen to, but also fun to listen to. I would recommend Hendrix to anyone who like good guitar players.

The Guitar in rock and roll
The guitar is a very interesting instrument to me, I've always wanted to play and am intrigued by the music that it makes. In rock and roll, I could listen to a song just because the guitarist is that good, regardless of the rest of the song. Good guitar playing makes music better and makes people happy. The guitar is and essential piece of a rock band and one without it is not going to make me want to listen to the band.

Good Pandora Stations
My favorite Pandora station to listen to right now is the Eli Young Band station. Not only is the Eli Young Band a very good band but, the other artists and songs that are played on the station are some of the best of country music, past and present.
If you are not a fan of country music that is OK. The Classic Rock staton pumps out hits that have passed the test of time and will forever be great songs. The station hits on all the major bands in the history of rock and keeps you off balance and eager to hear more music.

The Beatles (again)
The Beatles albums, Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band and Magic Mystery Tour, could have been combined into one absolutely phenomenal album. The few sub-par songs on each could have been dropped and the second half of the Magic Mystery Tour could have been added to the great songs in Sgt. Peppers and made for the best album ever, without a doubt.

Trace Adkins is a bad ass
The country singer, Trace Adkins, is not only a good singer but he is tough as nails. His former wife one time shot him in the chest, only 3 inches from his heart. Adkins survived somehow and is still goin strong today. Upon learning of this incident, I gained much respect for him and his true character. Adkins is a very good country artist whose deep voice is a signature of his performance. He is well respected for his character and music.
Pet sounds
The album, Pet Sounds, by the Beach Boys is a very interesting album. In comparison to their earlier music I do not like like the album as much but I feel that it is definitely a solid album still. Seeing the impact it made on other musicians/groups, such as the Beatles, I find Pet Sounds to be very important in the history of rock and roll. I would recommend that you listen to the album to gain a better understanding of the structure of beginning rock and roll.

The CMA's
The Country Music Awards featured many of the best country artist, past and present. The award for entertainer of the year went to George Strait as he is closing out his touring career with his farewell tour. Strait is one of the best country artist's all-time and his performance with Alan Jackson to honor George Jones was phenomenal. Also, the male and female vocalist of the year awards went to the country power couple of Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert respectively.
Free Will vs. Destiny
In the argument of Free Will vs. Destiny will go on forever. I have been brought up believing that God has a plan for me and my future. However, I also feel that I have free will on things that are less significant. I believe that there is a spectrum when it comes to this issue. I lean towards free will slightly because I think that God's plan is not affected by my choices. Free Will vs. Destiny will be debated throughout my life and my views will probably change slightly but never settle completely on one side of the argument.

The Beatles "Help" the movie
The movie "Help" is very wierd and I do not like it at all. The music in the movie is good but the avail movie parts are very wierd. I feel like they are trying to hard to be funny and are not doing a good job of it. I would rank it behind the other Beatles movies that I have watched and wouldn't recommend it to anybody except for hardcore Beatles fans who probably would have already seen the movie.
Eli Young Band
The Eli Young Band is a country band that uses a mix of strong guitar playing and great vocals to appeal their audience. I like listening to them play because of their strong lyrics and soothing vocals. I would recommend listening to their music to anybody who likes country music.

My definition of rock and roll
When I think of rock and roll, I think of head banging music that gets your heart pumping. Rock and roll music is generally good and can get you pumped to play sports. I think that stuff like metal and blues could be considered a sub-genre of rock and roll. Rock and roll music is a driving force of the music industry and supports anarchy. People who like rebellion like rock and roll. Yay rock and roll!
The Rolling Stones are bad
The Rolling Stones are not good, everyone praises them as being a good band but they suck. Their music is sloppy and it is boring to listen to their music. If I were to compare them to the Beatles they would be the piece of shit you wash off your curb Monday mornings after you bring the trash in. I just think that their music just not nearly as good as most people think. All the people who say the Rolling Stones are good should not critic music ever again.

Having a bad day?
Bad days happen. Sometimes things go wrong and they usually seem to snowball. Whenever bad days happen, people usually do different things to try to turn the day around. Personally, I like to take a nice long shower and then grab some food and sit on my couch and watch TV. The shower helps refresh me and gives me time to think about things. The food just makes me happy because I like to eat food, I think it is a natural response for all humans. Usually I flip around sports channels and catch up on my sports news whenever I feel bad. Bad days happen, everyone chooses to deal with it differently. How do you deal with a bad day?
Casting Crowns
Casting Crowns plays awesome religious music. Their music is full of pation and can bring chills to your body. Some of my favorite songs by them are "Voice of Truth" "Life of Praise" and "Glory." The variety of sounds that are used in their songs is very impressive, and the way they are able to blend the sounds into fantastic music is equally as impressive. Casting Crowns is my favorite religious based band. Whenever I want to change up what I am listening to, I will put on some Casting Crowns and my day usually improves.
Bowling for Soup
I like listening to Bowling for Soup in any situation. Their songs are nice and upbeat and are fun to sing along to. My favorite songs by Bowling for Soup are "Almost" "Ohio (Come Back to Texas)" and "High School Never Ends." All of these songs keep a strong beat going and keep your foot tapping along for the whole song. Anytime you want to just sit back and turn up some music, Bowlin for Soup should be on your playlist.

Pregame Music
Many people have pregame music playlists that they listen to in order to get their minds in the correct place for the upcoming game, I am one of those people. My pregame playlist is probably different then most others though. My pregame playlist consists of different styles of music that help me prepare in different ways. I have songs that help me remember who I am playing for and that I will not be able to play forever. Some of the songs are... "The Boys of Fall" by Kenny Chesney and You're Gonna Miss This" by Trace Adkins. I have songs that are empowering like "Radioactive" by Imagine Dragons and "Power" by Kanye West. My pregame playlist is different then others and I like how it prepares me to play and how it reflects some of my personality, too.

ACL
I have never been to ACL. I know crazy right? I have never been. If I were to go to ACL though, the person I would make sure to see is Eric Church. He is the one of the only artist that I know that is going to ACL. Another band I would like to see is Muse. I do not know how much I would enjoy all of the other music because I am not a big fan of the types of music that is played at ACL. I think that the thin I would enjoy the most about ACL is the atmosphere and the time spent with friends. I look forward to future opportunities at ACL in the next couple of years.

A Hard Days Night
The movie, A Hard Days Night, is full of odd sarcasm and humor that is now mostly out of date. I still liked te movie but I feel that the most of the jokes are no longer relevant. The way that the Beatles act together is still humorous and it is obvious that the boys liked to hang out together and had very good chemistry. The boys pull different pranks throughout the movie and like to have fun together. The musical soundtrack throughout the movie is fantastic and the live performances by the Beatles are very well played.
Neil Peart
Neil Peart, of the Canadian rock band Rush, is the best drummer of all-time in my opinion. His ability to play all different types of music and keep different beats and switch between them is very impressive. I love the different ways he is able on play the drums and his ability on the drums makes me like to listen to Rush. Neil Peart is the best drummer ever and will never be challenged or that right in my mind.

The Beatles second album
The Beatles second album, "With the Beatles" is fantastically done and is well put together. The album keeps and up tempo beat through most of its songs, also the combo of fantastic originals and wonderfully done covers makes the album whole. The way the album consists of originals split up by covers gives the album a nice pattern throughout. My favorite song on the album, due to its combination of up tempo beat and lovely lyrics, is "All My Loving." The song is well song and well played and keeps your foot tapping throughout the whole song. The rest of the album is also very good but this song is my favorite. I can't find a song on the album that I do not like and doesn't keep my attention. The whole album is fantastic!!

George Strait's last trip to Austin
George Strait, arguably the greatest country music artist of all time, makes his last your trip to Austin on January 19, 2014. George Strait has had an amazing career and one of the last chances to see him perform live is in Austin!! Strait has been a stable source of great country music for decades. Since he is retiring from touring after this tour, seeing him one more time would be amazing! Also, being at his last trip to Austin would be something you could talk about for years to come. If you have never heard George Strait, go to YouTube and jut watch his videos because he is fantastic. His voice soothes and his style is trendsetting. I will always love George Strait.
Tickets go on sale December 7th and are about 60 dollars a piece. Don't miss out on seeing one of the greatest music artists of any kind finish off his career.

Luke Bryan
Luke Bryan is one of my favorite country artists. I really enjoy his upbeat style and generally happy nature. Also, when he does I slower more sappy (for lack of a better word) songs he is still good. He is able to pull off different styles because he has a good voice. He is a good performer that gets the crowd going which is cool. Songs o his that I like, just to mention a few, are "Drunk on You" "Rain is a Good Thing" and "Country Girl." I believe he does a pretty goo job o factual g more country and not too poppy like much of country music has become. I believe that he will be a guy who can carry the torch for country music for a whole now that George Strait is retiring from tours and Alan Jackson an others are eating older.
The Beatles: The Beginning
The Beatles original album was pretty good. I liked their originals a lot more then their covers. Their originals were more enthusiastic and upbeat. That being said my favorite song on the album was a cover. Twist and Shout is my favorite song on the album. I like the way John Lennon sounds in the song and the tempo of the song is fantastic. I only recently learned that Twist and Shout was a cover when Mr. A said it was; that song sounds more like the originals on the album than the other covers.
Another thing I like about the album is the variety of the different subjects they touch on. I know that most (or maybe even all of them) are about girls but they touch on different topics underneath that one main topic. This variety in sub-topics is cool because it allows the whole album to be about the same main topic without being too repetitive.
What I didn't enjoy about the album were the slower songs. They just didn't appeal to me the same way. I feel like the Beatles sound better when in a higher tempo song. The songs still were performed well but I didn't like them as much.
Another crazy thing is that they recorded the whole album in one day!! That is insane!! I cannot comprehend that they actually did that, it is unheard of nowadays when it takes people like 2 years to record an album.

Chili's is good
Recently I have recieved some flack for saying that I love the food at Chili's. I love Chili's. It is very good. My favorite meal to get there is the Honey Chipolte Chicken Crispers. The Honey Chipolte sauce is fantastic, and the corn on the cob that comes with it that makes the meal be extremely filling. Also, you can get this meal as a part of the 2 for $20 deal and get an appetizer. My usual choice of appetizer is the Texas Style Cheese Fries. They are fantastic and come topped with bacon and jalapeƱos. The combo of the Honey Chiplote Chicken Crispers and the Texas Cheese Fries makes for a very delicious meal.
This is my opinion and everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I know some people think that eating what is basically chicken tenders covered in Chiplote sauce is childish and immature, but I don't care, it still tastes good.

Where will America be in 20 years?
Something that people overlook a lot as we go through our everyday life is how will things be different in the future. Things have change a lot in my lifetime alone. When I was born almost 17 years ago now computers were just being invented and people were not even dreamin about having something more powerful than the computer. Well now my iPhone is more technologically advanced then those computers. I can do things like write a blog from my phone and post it onto the Internet. 17 years ago most people didn't even have the Internet on their home computers. In 20 years America will look completely different if you ask me. China and other rising powers have control too much of the manufacturing done in the world and will eventually realize that they can cut off counties like the USA from simple nesecities. UnlessAmerica begins to make some of their own things we will be screwed. Also, how many states will we have? 50? 49 maybe? Will states secede or will we add places like Puerto Rico or Mexico? I feel like America is going to be very different within my lifetime.

Country Music
Country music is very prevalent in my life and it is about 90% of the music that I listen too. I like the different storylines in country music and the combination of the fiddle, guitar and (at times) the banjo.y favorite country artists are George Strait, Alan Jackson and recently a lot of Randy Houser. I like the classiness of Strait and Jackson and I like the sound of Randy Houser' voice. Also I like the new songs that Houser has made are very catchy. In particular I like "Running' out of Moonlight" and How Country Feels" by Houser.
Jerry Lee Lewis
Jerry Lee Lewis is absolutely insane, I do not like his music with the exception of "Great Balls of Fire". I do not like his style of music, or the way that he sings. He is obnoxious and in your face which I do not like. Also, I do not like his arrogance because he takes being cocky too far. I understand being cocky and have self confidence but he is too cocky. I don't like his music.

Music in my life
Music plays a relatively big role in my life. I enjoy listening to music and I often listen to music in my free time. I prefer to listen to country music but I occasionally listen to older music that originated when my dad was a kid. Some examples of music he listened too are... Rush, the B-52s, Kansas and Journey. I also liaten to music from the late 90s and early 2000s like nsync or the backstreet boys. But mainly I listen to country music especially George Strait and Alan Jackson.
